I just think Oscar did enough to seal the deal, just like the Quartey fight. I'm a JCC fan big time too btw, and scored that one for Pernell.Comment

Well the JCC fight wasn't really close enough to really be a point of contention IMO.
When a sports magazine that is supposed to be neutral writes ROBBED on their cover... you know there were some problems with the scoring.
I thought the Quartey fight was definitely a loss for Oscar. Those early rounds were just a jab-a-thon for Ike. Just my opinion.
I'm on the fence about Whitaker, but... I think the slight edge goes to Whitaker. Probably no other fight in the sport would I be less shocked by someone scoring it different than me. That fight was just a nightmare to score for anyone.Comment

Kudos And Good Point, Not To Mention Trinidad Almost Did It, Also Weight Is Important, But Roy Jones Would Have Knocked Out Felix Sturm, Felix Trinidad, Whitaker And Would Have Retired Julio Cesar Chavez With A Worse Beating.chicano, The Question Is Kind Of Silly When Looking At The Overall Landscape Because Oscar Fought In An Era Of Leaping Weight Classes.
It's Doubtful Roberto Duran Would've Beaten Everyone On That Resume. Does That Mean Oscar's Better? No. So What Is The Point, Really? That He Fought A Lot Of Good Names? Point Proven Because He Certainly Didn't Beat Most Of Them.Comment
