Calzaghe was not really hyped. He was a big name in Britain thanks to his undefeated record and series of knockouts but hype? Completely unheralded in the States and expected to roll over and die when confronted with the "mini-Tyson", whom he completely demolished. Then he was ducking Kessler. Until he dominated Kessler. Then he beat Hopkins who became old overnight (despite not showing it in the ring in his next fight against a young buck) and fought a money fight against Jones. Who is hyping him?
