      11 fights at jr. middle.

How many times are you going to be made to look foolish in one thread?

as joe said "i chose roy jones."
which is sad he would choose a shot 39 year old fighter with no title or anything but a name instead of a top fighter.

williams tried to make fights with all the best fighters like pavlik and margarito. didn't happen. verno at least was the ibf champ at the time the fight was signed.

also williams stopped an iron chinned 39 year old where calzaghe was knocked down and couldnt hurt a glass jawed 39 year old.

How am I being made to look foolish? He fought the majority of his fights at WELTERWEIGHT. Name someone else that fought at supermiddle and middleweight moved down to welterweight and beat the top welterweight and moved back up. Oh you cant.

I know the rules, however, Phillips himself did not stop the fight nor did Paul end the fight with a punch or a barrage of punches.

I guess Marquez knocked out Vazquez in the first match too.

Verno did not look angry the doctor stopped it. He had his head down and they were asking him if he was ok.

So he fought the majority of his fights at 147 by the slimmest of margins.

                      whoopee.

Doesn't mean he came up from 147 when his last fight was at 160.

                      See how foolish you look?
