He cut the ring/distance and landed hard shots close on the inside
He can't handle pressure yet won the fight? The key to beating Williams might be maintaining that pressure, but better yet who can maintain that pressure against him? By the way, in Quintana's win over Williams I remember Carlos landing a lot of counters from the outside, and that was his main weapon. So staying at a distance isn't necessarily suicide, maybe that is the key.

But they're not impressed with Calzaghe beating Jones.

It isnt impressing stopping a guy who has never been stopped when you are 7 inches taller than him and your 12 years younger

Panchos we have our diffrences and you r a good poster but get real you know that there is no comparison in Williams fighting Verno and Cal fighting Jones.

Cal actually couldve fought Pavlik...but ran.

Cal looks at Jones as a legacy building fight.

Williams fought Verno because no else wants none.

Williams looks at Verno for what he is a tough veteran fighter.

Boxing's not about height....Mike Tyson was a 5-8 heavyweight who had the whole divison peeing their pants.

                      Go watch camp fires.
