Don't forget why Hatton was knocked out. He was feeling desperate and becoming more careless. So he got caught clean. I suppose it's possible with Floyd SR in his corner that he would last longer because he seemed more relaxed and picked his shots better against Paulli. But this is Mayweather he's facing, sooner or later he would realise that he's losing the fight so he will become very aggressive again by storming at Floyd(and at times he was still being this wreckles against Paulli as well), eventually getting caught again.
