So many Cotto haters...and why?

Threads like this breed hate man. your not gonna change anyones minds, the haters will be the haters and the rational people will be the rational people. But making threads like this just makes Cotto fans look worse, and his irrational fans are a big reason why he gets hate on here.

The main reason is because he has never beaten a champion for a title.

Which considering he's fought at two weights is pretty shocking.

Plus his best wins are against Judah who's always lost when he step up a level and Mosley who was 36

I'm not saying he's rubbish but i find it difficult to see how he justifies his top 10 P4P ranking.

Jealousy! Cottos succes is the thing it come to mind!!!!!! But like the other poster said Haters will always be haters and you wont be able to change that. They will discret anything Cotto does and they will fine something to bash him for. So dont waste your time with this!!!!!

I'm a Cotto fan and I'm not worried about how threads that I make, like this one,.. make me look to so many that obviously don't even understand the sport of boxing. I just want to know where their thoughts come from. Just because I'm a fan of Cotto doesn't mean I'm supposed to dislike Margarito. He showed alot of hart in that last fight with Cotto and I respect him for that. But he even talks alot of **** too at times. If you notice, he doesn't bad mouth Cotto though, because he has fought him and understands he is a solid fighter that should be respected. I do think Cotto will win #2. Not because I'm a fan. Because I know boxing and when Cotto makes some small adjustments after watching the fight on tape he should overcome....

in an era of alphabet belts? cotto sparked maussa in 2003, somehow, he got a shot at hatton's ring title in 2005 when cotto was still there.(cause he beat vivian harris)

cotto left 140, and dudes he beat copped two belts.this is a bull**** ass reason and you know it.
floyd beat an inactive as oscar, barely( was as close as the mosley fight in imo, at least cotto and mosley made it interesting).and that's one of his biggest wins.
so to downplay cotto's wins vs mosley is dumb.
