When Williams is right he is right.
When Williams beat Margarito most people didnt know or care(only real fans)..the reason he wants to beat him again is because Margarito basically got his name from beating a well known Cotto. Now Williams wants to beat the man that beat the man when it counts so he can blow up on the scenne and have all the people on this site using his face as the avatar and posting for him...like all the guys did for Margarito....

I fully understand why margarito isnt fighting williams, it has everything to do with maximizing your cash, which i fully support him doing, the problem isnt about resumes or any other ****, its the fact that this guy BEAT HIM, and hes asking for a rematch or pracitcally begging. Now the arguments about whos worth more, who beat who, who is on whos resume, is alot like how the floyd/margarito arguments ruined this board for a whole year. Now the tables are turned and its the margarito contingent doing the same thing, with the exact same justifications. Personally, i dont care about paul williams, hes not my kind of fighter and neither is margarito. But the arguments about self worth, resumes, money percentages and de la hoya fights are exactly what margarito fans whined of years ago. That margarito wasnt the kind of fighter who cares about those things, posters like hendrixlove and ferocity argued from the opposite spectrum for YEARS, and now the tables have turned and margarito is just as buisness minded as anyone else, which i dont have a problem with.

I just find it great that now margarito knows how it feels to have to pick and choose, now he knows everyone wants a piece of him, and just like mayweather jr, he is intelligently weighing his options, risk vs reward.

The thing is, we didint think margarito was this kind of fighter as he was sold to us, hes just like everyone else, which is ok to me, but still hypocritical from some of the posters who i know for a FACT despised all of this back in late 05/06 when the arguments and tables were turned, which to me, shows that people stances on issues change with whomever someone is a fan of, not because they actually believe it.
