Nah, I'm one of Calzaghe's biggest fans but he stays at number two even if Pacquiao loses, because Pacquiao is supposed to lose. It's a suicide fight. I will be rooting for him however. If Calzaghe were to beat Dawson, and I really don't think he has to, he'd be unquestionably number one. Not that the simple folks would accept it.

Calzaghe can't win with some people. If he were to beat Dawson, the same people saying Dawson was gonna whup him will call Dawson 'overrated'. Like it or not, Calzaghe has fought and beat the best fighters he could. Hopkins ducked him in 2002 and Jones just wasn't interested during his prime (understandably, considering Calzaghe wasn't big then). You can't ask anymore of the man.
