I'm not to stoked over his resume, and I dont believe in bs p4p rankings, but Joe did what he had to do and thats beat everyone they put in front of him. He beat a shot Roy Jones because Roy Jones in his prime could care less about Joe and wasnt trying to fight him. He win over Hopkins was very real and credible as B Hop can beat nearly anyone cuz of his technique.

I'm not gonna say Joe is the greatest fighter in the last 50 years like some have been claiming, but he is a solid fighter who I feel has nothing left to prove. As far as haters go, you Europeans have Calzaghe, we have Mayweather, they will always find somthing wrong

He's a fake. He's very smart but it's still a cheat, i mean, 2 wins over 40 year olds, not facing the true champion of his division, this spells Rocky Marciano all over again. Why do you people need these fellas? Don't you realize Joe Calzaghe is not even the best of the LHW division or at least he never proved it? How do you become the best? Beat the best or a couple shot fighters? For Marciano was the later and so is the case with JC. Just crazy... No white fighter will ever be ranked p4p #1 by the Ring, as long as the ratings are voted on by Raskin, Dettloff, Goldman, etc.

That's one thing you can count on.

they'll have a white guy as #1 as soon as someone earns it. Pacman getting beaten by someone he's supposed to lose to doesn't make Calzaghe any better. If Calzaghe went up and fought Klitschko I wouldn't expect him to lose his spot on the list if he lost.
