Who have the better Overall resume Cotto or Margarito?

One thing to consider is that Margarito has fought 4 current champs.
Two at 147 (Cotto and Clottey), and two at 154.(Santos and Martinez)

Cotto has only fought one, and that was Margarito.

Martinez is not a champ. And malignaggi was the IBF champ, but had to give it up to fight Hatton.ANd Torres was a Champ till he got headbutted by Holt!!! And someting to consider is that Cotto has beated 12 Former champs! and a gold Medalist,plus 6 undefeted fighters!!!!!!!

Don't take this as an offense but Clottey would K.T.F.O Cotto...Bad style match up for Cotto. If the fight ever happend I'd be confident enough to bet 100K Pointz...

I really want to hear reasons for this. I'm not calling you out, I just happen to strongly disagree, so maybe I'm missing something with Clottey. To me, Cotto is a stylistic nightmare for Clottey. It all comes down to one thing....pacing. Clottey fights at Cotto's pace, maybe even slower. Cotto has only had trouble with pressure fighters that lure him into brawls. Clottey wouldn't do that.

Cotto would win a fairly decisive UD. And I really feel very confident about that.

its close but i think cotto has the better resume . . . but at 147 i think margs has had the tougher fighters in clottey and pwill vs. cotto with ssm, quintana and judah. they're both great fighters imo, and margs is getting the bigger and better names now.

Corley had Mayweather on ***** street before fighting Cotto, and he rocked Cotto so, How not to give that!!! Torres became a Champ after the lost to Cotto, and losted do to a headbutt KO!!!! And Judah gave a good effort against Cotto, Even against Clottey he was competitive in the first 5 rounds!!! Clottey couldnt put him away!!!!
