yeah how much they charge bars is killing boxing tbh. they need to make it cheaper. that's why most bars only hold ufc fights. it's cheaper.What's with all these go to a bar comments? I live in a major us city and any ppv that is showing a fight at a bar charges cover 20-25 bucks usually.
Bars have to pay an incredible amount of money to show PPV events are they get fined big and deep.
I am very puzzled how people can go to sports bars for free and just watch any damn thing. I sure as hell haven't encountered it.
50 buck by the way, is nothing for Left Hook Tua. He's a rich land owning ********** who has little sympathy for the class struggle
yeah i'm rich. that's why i'm working for free right now and living off of my savings and had to cash out my 401k and stock options......
dude you guys act like $50 bucks is a lot of money. it's saturday night. what do you guys do saturday night. going to the movies will cost that much. taking a hoe out to dinner costs that much. going to a club and buying 6-8 dollar drinks is that much. you guys are whiners.Comment

Tua= patok
Tua =buhay-mayaman
At any rate, yeah, Bars do charge too much.
For the biggest fights, it's easy to go to a party, but the more obscure ones it's kinda hard at times when they are ppv too so I split those between streams and getting a 300 dollar cable bill.
The days of going out after a ppv event are ovah....Comment

You can eat like that when you're a teenager, but don't say you weren't warned when your body sends you a bill for it years later. That food is absolute trash and should only be eaten occasionally.Comment

its different for us peeps in the UK, we get the US PPV at 4AM in the morning and hardly a time to have your mates round, i preffer to get up at 9AM, log onto world boxing archives and download for free
However, if i was in the US I'd either get a ticket for the fight, or have mates round and cover PPV cost. Last prime time PPV we have over here was Amir Khan, and well, that was hardly worth £15 ($30) was it!Comment
