So why didn't Floyd just do it if,

in his own words, Tony was just

    "easy work"
    "a bum"

    ?

Gets more money fighting Hatton and Oscar

But Margarito would rather fight Mosley 2 million instead of Willaims 4 million

Adding another name to the resume is never a bad thing.

Paul should try it, it might garner him more support.

and if he was afraid of bigger stronger guys he wouldnt have fought DLH or baldomir
There you go again....comparing Baldomir to Margarito. That's nonsense. Oscar is the only one, IMO, that can compare with Margarito (or Cotto) and he was over the hill by the time he fought Floyd. But, I do give Floyd credit for that fight. That was the one single fight of Floyd's career that gives me any indication that he could handle a WW of Margarito's size, range, and power. However, the differences between the Oscar that fought Floyd, and Margarito are too large to ignore. The biggest difference is Margarito's stamina. No way he gasses out by the 8th round like Oscar did. AND, incidentally, had Oscar not gassed out, we all know there is a very likely probability that he would have beaten Floyd. So, there you go.

Let us hope that sometime during 2009 Floyd announces his return, and is willing to fight Margarito.

We all hope for that. But, sadly the prospects are not good. Floyd doesn't want to fight Margarito because he could get knocked out in front of the whole world.

It'll NEVER happen. I know never is a long time. But NEVER.

However. I'd say Floyd wins by staying away. Floyd has no problem not fighting. Other guys love to trade, which against Margarito is not a good idea. Floyd dodges his way to a 117-111 decision.
