Y'all need to watch The Cintron fights and the Cotto fight for your answer..

Nobody in their right mind is going to suggest Mayweather hits harder than Cintron.. Cintrol was teeing off and landing FLUSH power shots.. That were snapping Margarito's head back.. and he just kept Coming.. If Cintron Blocked high.. Marg would go Low always wearing him down..Throwing punches and hitting ANYTHING.. arm,chest,neck wherever..

In the Cotto Fight.. Cotto danced, Cotto Ducked, Cotto threw 5 shot combos that all landed flush.. He threw deadly power shots that once again sent Marg's head snapping back.. Cotto fought the fight of his life,tried every trick in the book.. Margarito JUST KEPT COMING.. Throwing punches from odd angles with that scary REACH.. Hitting arms,shoulders,chest etc etc.. always wearing him down..

Floyd will dance, Floyd will duck,Floyd will dodge, Floyd will counter, Floyd will throw combos, and when it doesn't work.. and Marg is STILL coming..all the while .. WITH HIS REACH landing whatever wherever.. And this where Floyd freaks lose the plot.. Marg WILL land.. Probably not much in the early going.. but enough.. even if it's just Arm and shoulder.. he will land enough..And Floyd will wear down.. as the Bigger and stronger man bears down on him.. His heart breaking.. due to his best arsenal not being enough.. His Body breaking, from the relentless machine in front of him,Flailing with those LONG powerful arms.. Catching Floyd more often and more flush as the fight wears on..
and slowly Floyd breaks down.. and soon the ring isn't big enough to run anymore..

This is the part I find laughable.

"Floyd will make him miss."

Oh really?

When was the last time Floyd Mayweather went through an entire fight without taking a single punch?

When was the last time, the slow, wide looping shots of Tonys never connected?


They're living in a fantasy world thinking that Floyd has some magic potion that makes him invisible. They want to think that because its hard for them to come to the realization that,
a. Tony is probably the biggest and strongest fighter he would have ever faced in regards to height and build.
b. Tonys conditioning is just as good if not better than Floyds.
c. Tony loves for fighters to stay on the ropes.


Its always, "easy and wide UD".

It's gotta come sooner or later (sooner we hope). Floyd must come out of hiding to fight a legitimate Welter Weight. It can only be Margarito. Only a win over Margarito can secure (or salvage) Floyd's legacy. Who wins and why?

IMO Margarito will bludgeon his way thru the vaunted Mayweather defense. He'll catch him and hurt him and then finish him. That's the way I see it.

Margarito walked right thru Cotto, so he will do the same to Floyd. Floyd's shots bounce right off Margarito. This suggests that Margarito will have little respect for Floyd's power. Therefore, Margarito will feel free to do what he does....walk Floyd down and go about beating him up. Floyd will move away consistently so as not to get trapped on the ropes. His pot shots will have little effect above justscoring points. Early rounds go to Floyd. But, Margarito continues to hunt his man down. The fight will play out like this with great probability until either Floyd gets caught or until Floyd goes into his little "rope a dope light" thing. Either way Floyd now sustains punishment and Margarito starts towin rounds. As Floyd gets tired and beat down, Margarito gets into Floyd with a long flurry of rights, lefts, and uppercuts. Many are blocked with Floyd's arms, but as the fight proceeds, many shots start to land. Margarito again is winning rounds. Continue down this path until Margarito finally hurts Floyd and finishes him, or beats Floyd with a UD.

Floyd makes the WW division seem what it is - his for the taking. I don't care who you are a fan of, looking at this realistically, Floyd wins and, YES I SAID IT, easily. (as easy as winning a 12 round championship fight can be.) Floyd doesn't need to comeback against Margs. He embarasses Margs. He doesn't need to comeback against Cotto because we already established he embarrases Margs who just beat Cotto. Floyd will ONLY come back, for the money. Neither of those two fighters, given Cotto lost, will provoke the kind if money needed. We all know where his money is, should he return.
