    Well fair enough...

But even so, then that just means that Pacquiao being a natural welterweight means that he is going to be vastly dwarfed in the ring, because Oscar will be a natural middleweight, or possibly a natural super middleweight come fight time.

So it really doesn't get Pacquiao anywhere under this definition to be a natural welterweight for his upcoming fight.

Don't now or care, but I wouldn't call him or the majority of fighters naturals at any of their weights. Floyd is one of the few who fights at a natural weight when he is at 147.

lol at you thinking you were going to try and get a hypocritical response out of me.

You should know by now that I stand by my standards regardless of who doesn't reach them.

Margarito is actually one of the worst offenders of boiling down...

He is ****ing huge for a welterweight.

It's whatever though... the rules were clearly established on weight classes before these dudes were born. If they are following the rules and making the weight, then it's fine. I have no problem with it.

If anything, this is why careers are cut short... because these fighters ruin their bodies by draining weight all the time, and then having their weakened body take such a a beating.

guys, the difference is that Pacquiao tends to gain 12+ lbs overnight and still is very skinny. I seriously doubt he has more than 7% body fat.

and he really does weigh more than 147lbs naturally. he weighs 150lbs+ just walkin around normally.

Its not the first time De La Hoya has faced someone who jumped two weight classes to fight him. and when that happened, he lost. and todays De La Hoya is not as good as then.

yall are making too much out of the weight issue. its not that huge a deal, and it amazes me that people are actually complaining about this kind of a matchup
