Dwiens what People dont understand is that Floyd called out Freitas and Casamayor and Challenge them..Neither of them wanted to fight..and neitehr of them return his call for a challenged. Like Floyd said, Before he moved up in weight to fight bigger names and get the stardom he wanted at the time...The same time when he was calling out De La Hoya, Mosely, and Hamed "They didnt want to fight"

Id like to see something other than your word that Floyd tried to make those fights. But lets forget about that for a second. How come he wouldn't clean out the division at 147? Why not call out Cotto AFTER he had established himself? Why not go after Paul Williams? How come he refused Margarito, but said he would fight him down the road only to retire? People want to know.

The problem with the "he would have beaten them anyway" logic is that applies to him in like every fight... he would be a favorite against anyone in his weight class right now, so...

Casamayor in particularly was the big one, because he had a huge amateur pedigree, and one of the three ABC belts (Freitas only had the WBO, which still wasn't that legit back then).

Honestly, those fights probably didn't get made because of money issues.

If anything Hatton is underrated. 43-0 WW Champ and people still doubt his skills in the ring. It doesn't make sense, especially if you've actually seen him fight.

I used to be the guy who was making defense of Floyd posts like you. I've seen all of his fights, listened to all of his post-fight interviews, etc.

I know he called them out.

I think both fights went to negotiation actually, but died when it came to how much money to allocate to the fighters.
