Neither one of them had an off night. Paul clearly got beat and FAIR...So did Margarito. Quintana jumped on Paul in the 2nd fight...Quintana got rocked and K.O'd NOT a lucky shot either. Too bad no one agree with this

well margs beat cotto who didnt want any part of paul williams
      and he has a belt
so williams wants the belt and the respect
that respect shifted to margarito after he stopped cotto
williams wants to remind everyone he beat the man who be the man
and he deserves the recognition as the best welterweight in the world

Looking at body language. He looked sluggish to me. Margarito improved as fight went along. And doesn't he always start slow according to some?

In your eyes he did, but not in the eyes of many of his fans. Glad to see you're not one of them.

My opinion is this...Margarito is a slow starter as we all know but that clearly wan't the problem here. From what I saw...Margarito only did better because Paul activity slowed down

Margarito couldn't get off any punches because

            1. Paul clinched and did a GREAT job at doing so
            2. He was way more active and kept a perfect distance

How can anyone think Margarito started slow from round 1-7 winnin 8, 10 and 11 and he lost the 12.

The problem was clearly Paul not Margarito

He's a professional boxer, if he didn't train properly then that's his own fault. He thought he was going to manhandle Quintana, which he didn't. I never believe in this offnight bull****. Margarito does start slow but if he loses its his fault too for starting late in that fight.

I didn't say it was anyone else's fault. I just made the comparison to their losses, of if both, neither, none had off night. If someone looks like you never seen them before in a fight and someone else does what they normally do and gradually pick up pace, you can make that argument.

I also believe he didn't train hard. Paul got what was comin to him NEXT time I'm sure he'll take training more serious. Reason why I gave Buster Douglas all the credit in the world for beatin Tyson

I don't want to hear that "He didn't train hard excuse" That right there isn't and will NEVER be an excuse.

                      you're ridiculous..........

the philips fight was SUPPOSED to be for a TITLE at 154 right?

the andy kolle fight was just a showcase of him jumping from WW to MW, AND it was made in about a month, meaning he had little time to actually prepare.....

i'm sure you can understand right?

                      maybe not.
