I think so too, Mayweather vs Hatton/DLH/Pacquiao will happen sometime next year.

This is VERY interesting. Floyd isnt gonna stay out long when there is money to be made. I dont see Manny happening EVER. Not enough money to be made. I think Ricky Hatton is the one everyone wants to take to the dance cause Ricky can fill up Wembley stadium EASY. PLUS the Euro's value compared to the dollar is twice as much almost. Does Ricky's desire to avenge his lone defeat overwhelm his ability to practically command almost if not a split against Oscar if they fought in England? Oscar fighting Ricky in England can practically gaurantee that he doesnt offer anything less than a 60/40 split to Ricky. Does Oscar and HBO feel like they can drum up enough interest in a Mayweather rematch?

I really think if anyone is sitting in the drivers seat in all this, it's Ricky Hatton. Mayweather against Hatton in England breaks all attendance records and possibly PPV records. Think about it. People will pay to see him and Floyd fight again in the states. But in Wembley? Floyd in Wembley? Against Hatton? Man that stadium would explode. Everyone in England would be in Wembley or somewhere outside of that Stadium looking to see if Hatton can avenge that loss against the fighter that beat him.

Floyd vs Ricky II is my bet. I just dont see Oscar being able to sell iin England like Floyd could against Hatton.

I'd like to see Floyd vs. Pavlik, or Floyd vs. Paul Williams.

Why would you want Pavlik to fight Mayweather. Pavlik would be fighting a smaller man.

This might be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

Of course, Mayweather might come back. He is a boxer of course but he has proved that he is a smart business man. Chances are, he isn't going to fight who we want him to fight, he will fight where the $20million payday is.

I agree with your entire post with the exception of Manny bringing no money. Pacman is one of the hottest, most marketable fighters in the game right now.

I really would not care to see a rematch with him an Hatton. Yawn.
I would rather see mayweather fight Cotto or Margarito or Pacman.

I hear your sarcasm and think it is great.

On the other hand when did we all decide to believe Floyd Sr? Floyd Jr. may make a come back but this statement from Sr. means nothing to me.

LOL @ Floyd Jr and Ellerbe commenting on how Hatton appears to have vastly improved under Floyd Sr's training. The Hatton that fought Malignaggi was the same exact fighter he was prior to hiring Floyd Sr. This is definitely looking like they are trying to set up a rematch with Hatton.
