Cotto took a terrible beating and seemed to have less than the desired stamina in his last fight.

Abraham perhaps does deserve to be in the p4p top ten.

Williams looked great in his past two fights, this guy has enormous potential. By this time next year, no one will deny he belongs there.
wlad is better than vit imo. vitali has the better chin and tougher though that's why i think vit would beat wlad.

cotto might have been koed but it was a great fight and he was winning the 1st part. not much of a loss if you ask me.

abraham is p4p material he just needs that one big win. i think he gets on when he beat kelly.

williams sucks to me. he hasn't fought anyone aside from quintana (who beat him once) and marg (which was a close fight).

If you took a 5'9" welterweight and Paul Williams, blew them up to 250 pounds, Williams would still have a height advantage. If Williams was the same weight as Klitschko he would have a height advantage because of his tall frame compared to Klitschko's more filled out frame.
It's a size thing and not a weight thing. It's sort of BS anyway because it's so subjective, but the idea is that people who principle advantage has to do with their physical size are usually at a disadvantage making p4p rankings because if you removed that size advantage they wouldn't have much left.

calderon is overrated. the guy has skills but he is nothing special. he moves well......maybe he should be a dancer.

the guy is what 40? lol he'll be gone soon enough.

Compare the 2 of them and their resume. Yes PW beat Margs but Margs has been champion for a long time.

Look at all the P4P guys, all of them have had good victories & defended their titles SUCCESSFULLY. PW can only claim the first but not the later.

            It's the heavyweight division

            Here's something interesting:

            Williams has 82" reach

            Wlad has 81" reach

            Vitali has 80" reach

Williams should move up and pick on someone his own size.

Peter weighed more than Vitali for their fight, about 255 to 245.

Vitali says he a little under 6'7" not 6'8"

There was an even greater height difference between Tyson and Tua at 5'10" and Lewis at a bit over 6'5".

Vitali had a 3" reach advantage over Peter, 80" to 77", but Lewis had a 13" reach advantage over Tyson 84" to 71" and a 14" reach advantage over Tua, 84" to 70".

I wonder why nobody bashed Lewis for being a big man the way they bash the Klitschkos.

Right, but size has to be defined in this case it is done by weight, hence pound-for-pound. I agree the ratings can be very subjective since it can be hard to measure other aspects such as skill, resume, etc. but I think the basic idea of comparing people based on their height/weight ratio and the advantages/disadvantages that come with this can be more easily understood.
