We all have to start somewhere. Your six year old has probably been boxing longer then he has.
Since he was able to walk, actually both of my sons since they were able to walk know the basics. My younger son more so because hes always one of the smaller kids in his class. My oldest is usually one of the bigger kids so I don't really have to worry about him.

That's good. Do you take them to the gym? My mom won't let me take my lil bro.
She says when he is 13 or so he can go if he wants but not until then.

No, they don't really like it. I do what I can with them here at home. We've got some gloves and cousins for sparring. I won't ever force them into it either. I mostly teach them as a means to be able to defend themselves. If they happen to pick it up later, cool. If they ever don't, cool as well. They're most likely going to college anyways. One is a G.A.T.E. student and the other will probably be in a few years.

Im a huge fan of Shane, but he is gonna lose a pretty clear UD. He just cant keep Margaritos pace at this point in his career. I think it will be even for about 5 rounds and then Margarito will take over as Mosley slows down.

I hope Mosley gets stopped, because at this age and point in his career he should not take 12 rounds of Margarito.

I am thinking of *not* going to see this live, because Shane will be 37yo cannon fodder at this point.

In his prime this fight would be exciting and competitive and I would put my money on Shane, who in his prime is just not going to be broken down by a welterweight who he could beat to the punch all night long. The fight would have been interesting even back then because of Mosley habit of fighting more aggressive than he needs to.

In 2009, I dont see a way in which Shane keeps his health (he might even pull a D by a miracle, but I don't see it being healthy for him.

I bet all my low points Marg stops Shane.

Of course, Shane could always hop on a bicycle and let Marg have a UD.

marg ain't gonna stop mosley, but the way mosley struggled w/ mayorga means mosley loses.

I'll take your bet, if you are serious?

Margarito has a great chin but he has relied on it a lot as of late and I think he will go into this fight thinking he will walk and stalk old Shane Mosley into the ground. Thats a mistake against a guy who is immensly strong, still has fast hands and posseses an iron chin himself. I think he will look to this fight to leave his mark in boxing and with his new trainer will stomp Antonio.

I expect Mosley to be doing well (and probably ahead) for the first 4 rounds...

                      then i see margarito's 1200+ punches a fight to start to test mosley's endurance/stamina...

i expect mosley to fade by the 8th round and to get stopped in the 10th or 11th via a TKO...im not sure he'll actually get knocked down but i think either his corner or the ref decides he's had enough.
