Yea, The crowd was reacting to all the action including Cotto's flurries, but that's evidence of a crowd that's engaged.
I've seen all of Cotto's fights, I'm a fan, and this the only fight I heard almost everyone against him.

Watch the fight again, and you'll hear immediate boo's when Cotto clentched. And it's RARE Cotto EVER clentches. And even more rare he's ever booed.
Then afterwards he was walking out and hardly ANYONE applauded his work in the ring. He raised his hand in the air as if to say 'goodbye' while walking out and everyone just watched him leave.
That crowd was pro-Marg amigo.

so you are saying the Margarito fans where the ones cheering for him when he was walking into the arena... interesting.

anyone here can watch the fight again if they have it saved on the computer..
go back and watch the fight.. tell me if the Cotto fans where just as loud as the Margarito fans or not? Because if it would have been 8 to 2 you would have barely heard the Cotto fans at all.. and that is simply not the case. Everytime Cotto flurried you would also hear a lot of ooos and aaahhs!

Watch the HBO version, even Lampley, who happens to be madly in love with Miguel Cotto to the extent that he cried after the fight and still had him wininng despite being knocked out, said that it was a good showing by the Puerto Ricans but that it was mostly a Mexican pro-Margarito crowd.

I'm not sure why this is being discussed, but yeah.

It would be all Cotto at MSG, but it wouldn't matter.

But I never really watched the post fight stuff because it was way too difficult, but anonomyus, if that's true about the crow booing him when he was leaving, that's pretty ****ed up. Everything's fair game in the build up and during the fight, but after two guys put up a fight like that you gotta cheer him when he's leaving, that's just being a fan of the sport.
