I don't think Oscar or Ricky were easy money, but people are asking for too much if they want a throwback nowadays. I was amazed to recently read about Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s interest in his internet popularity. He said he has more "haters" on the internet than any other boxer and he cites this as proof of his stature in boxing.

Now Floyd, if you're between ho's and reading this, listen up. I love ya. No "hate" here. I was one of the early fans way back when you were pure and unadulterated by the commercialism of boxing. But, you lost me along the way. I suspect I'm not the only one.

First it was Kostya Tszyu, then Margarito, then Miguel Cotto. Excuses abound about why these fights never materialized, but, they're not acceptable. Always taking the easy money has hamstrung your legacy. You've pulled a hammie, homie. Nevertheless, you can rectify all this in one fight....and his name is ANTONIO MARGARITO. The boxing public needs to see some GRIT and taking that fight would fit the bill. Win or lose, you gain respect. That's the only thing that's lacking at this point.
