Opinions on Calzaghe-Froch?

I Do!!!!!!!! it just that Dawson needs and impresive win, agaisnt a credible opponent to land calzaghe. Because calzaghe doesnt need to fght anybody else. dawson is the one who needs to make it happen for himself!!! He didnt look impresive against Johnson, but he looked good against Tarver though!!!!!!!

Ok, even though I had Dawson winning the fight against Johnson I accept that it was not overly impressive, however beating an extremely tough guy like Johnson is, in itself, impressive IMO.

But how you can say Chad needs an impressive win over a "credible opponent" is beyond me. He could barely have looked more impressive in his three wins over Harding, Tarver and Adamek - two former LHW champs and one top contender.

Dawson has definately done enough to establish himself as the guy who, along with Hopkins, deserves to land that fight with Calzaghe. It would be a disgrace IMO if Froch, who hasn't beaten a fighter that would make it into Dawson's top 4 wins on his resume, landed that fight.

They have to fight each other, in order to fight Calzaghe. Lets say if dawson beats Froach and then beats Kessler then he is worthy of fighing Calzaghe. Then he would have a big enough name to make money sense and if he beats kessler impresively, that would lure calzaghe to fight him. Cuz calzaghe is all about Challenges!!!!!!! And he would want to fight a guy who beat an opponent worst than he did!!!!!!!

See I disagree. You make an assessment on who deserves a particular fight based on their accomplishments relative to the other options. There can be no debate that Froch's resume to date is not even close to that which Dawson has managed to compile. Froch doesn't deserve the fight.

If Froch beats Pascal, he'll likely fight Taylor. I don't know much of Froch, which don't mean he's noo good, just he probably wouldn't be able to do much wit Joe C.

Calzaghe would Lacy Froch.

No way he deserves a shot before Chad Dawson. If Calzaghe fights anybody in SMW or LHW, it will have to be Chad Dawson. Period.

I kinda hope Froch wins but I seriously doubt Froch beats Pascal. He is looking past him while he has a very live dog in his fence right now. I would be willing te bet Froch loses this one.

Froch has done nothing to deserve a fight with Calzaghe, if he was to turn Dawson down and then fight Froch he would look like a right twat!
