Opinions on Calzaghe-Froch?

There has been an increasing amount of press emerging of late indicating that Calzaghe may shoot to fight Froch in Britain early next year providing he gets past Pascal.

What is everyone's opinion on this match-up? Does Froch deserve this fight? Should Joe give it to him?

I'm not sure as far as Froch "deserving" the fight, you can make a case for that. What would suck about him fighting Froch is that it will be viewed as a HUGE downgrade from his previous fights and as another "yuR0 bUm" to add to his padded resume.

If he beats Pascal, he is worthy. I'd worry about this fight. Carl gets a lot of stick, but I think he is a dangerous, although I doubt he'd knock Joe out.

I think it's more likely Joe will fight Clinton Woods in Cardiff.

So i'd say it's in Calzaghe's best interest to not fight Froch, I don't think it'll be worth the backlash.

I had thought for a long time.. That Froch just might be the fly in Calzaghe's ointment.. If styles make fights.. I was able to envision Froch pulling it off..

But in reality.. Calzaghe is just to good at adjusting to whoever is in front of him..

Joe would pepper Froch with punches, it would be an early TKO for Joe. Froch has a worse defense than Khans, if that is possible.
