Joes workrate is VERY OVER RATED. the guys workrate consists of slaps. slap a punching bag and punch another time you'll see slapping takes very less out of you. id love to see Joe throw straighter punches and sit on them like he does his slaps and i bet he'll fatigue.

yeah, its easy to throw 1000 punches/round if you're fighting shot fighters and senior citiizens

I believe P4P Tony has a higher output than Calzaghe. You have to take into account that Tony throws hard, thudding punch after punch and although Calzaghe doesnt always just slap around, many of his punches are arm punches.

Don't mean to sound like a hater but even his fans have got to admit that a lot of his punches are in fact arm punches (which are easier to throw than real punches)

Yes sir, I am a huge Calzaghe fan and I know not all of his punches are intended to cripple you, they are designed to stop you from being able to think, set your feet, get any good shots of your own off, and knock you into positions which create openings for more serious punches. It's clear to me what Calzaghe is doing, so I have no problem with these "slaps", they do exactly what Joe needs them to do.
