I do wonder however, sometimes making weight can affect any older Fighter...and, this isn't exactly a prime Oscar. Every day might be your last "good" day.

If Oscar shows up at 75%, Pac is going to go to sleep. If Pac is going to win this fight, Oscar has to be weight-drained and get old overnight so that he turns sluggish.

I couldn't understand much of what he said and although he doesn't sound too bright in a common sense i know better than to disregard his experience and what those eyes have seen in his long long years around the sport. I think the man is right when he says Pacquiao can't do hit to De La Hoya. It is a mismatch, another one this year. If you look at 08 carefully you will find that, apart from Cotto-Margarito, about EVERY each one of the big ppvs were in fact mismatches!!!! Either shot fighters, different weight classes, 10+ years age difference (Pavlik fought 43 year old Bernard, a mismatch on paper but didn't turn out too well). My question is, what are we buying really? When Roy Jones showed up clearly not competitive vs Joe Calzaghe i felt bad for him and everyone who paid +50 dollars for that fight. Many examples followed. Is 1 mega fight on even terms enough for you guys? That's why all my ppv destined money is recently going for HDnet mma (DREAM) and to the UFC when a good event pops up. I haven't paid for any boxing ppv since like 07 and i'm not planning to either.
