I think Rogers fear is that Pacman will look more impressive against Oscar than Floyd did.

Roger Mayweather sounds terrible when he is talking, my fault if it is because of brain injury he sustained as a fighter. But if it's not than that's just a shame.Comment

Just remember though, Roger picked Kostya Tszyu to kill Ricky Hatton, but a lot of these guys just remember the fighter at his best without seeing what is going on.
Ricky pointed out many things on why he would win and I agreed with the possibility he could win based on what Ricky was saying...why? Because Kostya Tszyu had been on the decline for years. It was even talked about it before the Judah fight as well as previous fights. But since Kostya kept landing the right hand and knocking kids out, they forgot what was taking place inside the ring.
Age, inactivity, making weight, all catches up. And Ricky pointed this out.
Of course, Pac is a midget compared to Oscar, unlike Ricky vs. Tszyu, but....hopefully you get my point. This isn't exactly a prime Oscar.
It can all catch up with Oscar on that one night. Age, inactivity, making weight at 147...fighting a hungry killer with speed and aggression, with good stamina and nice power.
Anything is possible even if Oscar is favored and should be. If Oscar feels healthy and nothing is bothering him, Osar wins by KO. But, I wouldn't be surprised if Oscar shows up "Flat."Last edited by Benny Leonard; 11-24-2008, 03:40 PM.Comment
