Attention Calzaghe fans: It's 2008, not 1998. His power 10 years ago is irrelevant when talking about present day Calzaghe. He hasn't KO'ed anyone in years.

          He still has something.

If he didn't he'd be getting walked down.

Of course he has power, he just chooses not to use it as he fought probably 15 times with broken hands therefore he no longer sets down on his shots.

As for fighting at heavyweight. No way. I'm sure he could beat some heavyweights in the way that Jones did but lets get serious he is SMW/LH no more.

i always felt his power was underrated but based on his fight with Jones i dont believe he has underrated power i here Ritchie Woodhall also said he is not that hard of a hitter

i expected Calzaghe to stop Jones late in that fight and at one point Jones was ready to go i felt but Calzaghe could not get him out of there and he did not look like he had much mustard on his shots either

he is probably a good puncher but not a hard puncher,BTW i heard someone say Toney had more power well as far as im concerned Toney is not a big hitter either he punched decent, good at 160lbs but he was not a devestating puncher he nailed Nunn,P,C,Williams good but he is not what i would call a big puncher
