I think so too but I'm not entirely sure it's any improvement. I just think it comes from the fact he had a guy infront of him who didn't want to fight, and he had nothing to be afraid of in terms of punching power.

What he needs to do is stop blowing up 40 and 50 pounds in between fights. He needs to stop pounding pints of New Castle Ale and stuffing his face with ****ers and chips.

nah I think there was improvement at least in the first couple of rounds.

I think he is at an age and stage in his career where he is going to have to be more disciplined in between fights. If he keeps on drinking and eating as hard as he does, then he will have no choice but to go up to welter. If that happens I dont think it will be too pretty because he will not have come up the right way,and as good as he is at fighting inside,Margarito is every bit as good,if not better.

I think he will only fight a few more times. He should stay at 140 IMO.

Even under the training of Floyd Sr he barely made any type of changes to win this fight.

                he cannot succeed at 147

Who would you bet on Hatton to win against ANY of the top welters?

he is too short.. and more importantly, his reach is too short... I don`t think he will ever be very successful at WW

Ricky is jsut too small to fight at 147. I'd honestly like to see him work a bit ahrder at maintaining weght and give a rip at 135 once.
