He isnt a bad fighter, its just he's not on the level of Hatton and Cotto. When ever he steps up to the top class fighters of his division, it becomes apparent that he doesnt belong there.

He looked great in the first ndou fight, he had me fooled because of how well he fought in that fight. Plus, he was competitive with Cotto

I agree, I am not bashing the guy, but just by looking at his fights, his skills isn't on the level of his trash talking. Hatton hit him at will. I thought Paulie had decent defense, but Hatton kept jumping in with that left hand all night. I dont Buddy should have stopped it though. It wasn't that bad if you ask me.

Paulie is sometimes underestimated because of how he makes people dislike him.(Even in that aspect, he's not the biggest prick around). When he loses to fighters it's because they are great fighters and they're just too much for him. He's somewhat like Judah nowadays. Fights the elite, gives a good amount of himself, but always comes up short.

paulie is a good fighter, but not great. his brittle hands are why he can't get over the hump. lay off him.

paulie's got the skills but just not enough skills and power... he's a solid jr welter though and was imho the legitimate #1 contender before the hatton fight.
