Who do you respect more Hatton or Calzaghe?

    Calzaghe cleaned out his division after beating the best other fighter @SMW in the last 10 years. Calzaghe's SMW-resume is faaaaaaaaar better than Ricky's at JWW. Now Calzaghe is also the man @175 while Ricky was owned by Collazo, who is not even a top-10-guy at welter. Against good WW like Margarito or Cotto Hatton would be murdered.

      yeah, but the jump form 140 to 147 is tougher than the jump from 168 to 175. plus the 175 lbs division is pretty shallow while the 147 lbs division is deeper. plus the 140 lbs division was alot deeper while hatton was in it than 168 lbs division while calz ruled it.

          I got respect for both, but Hatton I think is a bit more of a one trick pony, whereas Calzaghe is a much more versatile boxer overall.

          I think comparing their resumes is negligible at best.
