Who do you respect more Hatton or Calzaghe?

Though I'm not a fan of either (especially Ricky since he made me lose all my points last night!!!!! lol).
I would say Hatton. Calzaghe has made a career on the backs of UK bums, 1 decent fighter (Lacy), and 2 old men (u know who). At least Hatton has fought decent opposition.

Hatton. Calzaghe's a better fighter but I don't respect someone who spent the majority of his career fighting mandatories and sticking to one division, and later pretending that everyone ducked him.

Hatton's never had any delusions about the American market. He went there, he MADE it happen. He didn't go to America when he was already counting down the fights to retirement and wanted a couple of big paychecks and names on his resume.

the only thing I hated about hatton was his mauling style, but w/ floyd in his corner he's turning it around bit by bit.

Hatton took on the a prime number 1 p4p fighter and was somewhat competitive
He mad mayweather look bad for the first cpl of rounds (it was an ugly fight)

Joe calzaghe, well you must fit the prerequisite of being 40 yrs old OR being shot..

Hatton by a longshot, and plus hatton has personality, joe.. doesnt

Joe Calzaghe, he's more talented and has accomplished far more.

But I respect Ricky Hatton too. That was a nice performance last night.
