Malignaggi broke his hand

disappointed in Paulie, even if his right was broken. This was the biggest fight of his career, shove that broken right hand right into hattons **** defense face. Well, cotto probably was his biggest fight but this was his biggest fight where his opponent was clearly not weight-drained.

I think he's just scared to throw it as much. You can count the number of straight rights he threw with one hand. That's why I'm shocked people are so excited about the performance from Hatton. He fought well, but I dont think Malignaggi was game at all.
All he did was move, jab, step in to clinch. Repeat.

He didn't break his hand! He said his hands were fine in this fight but he was reluctant to throw possibly due to the past injuries playing on his mind.
Calling a thread "Malignaggi broke his hand", when he said himself there was no problem is pretty ******.

As for Paulie not wanting to make excuses post fight; he was hammered all through the night and lost comprehensively. Any posturing or excuse making would have given the critics much more ammunition; why take the fight in the first place, why not cancel, why figh on? etc etc etc
I'm no fan of Malignaggi, I just think it's sometimes the rational thing to do when analysing a fight's result; look at both performances rather than magnifying just the winner's.
I can't take anything away from Hatton, he did everything he had to do, he looked magnificent. However, when you are fighting a virtually one handed fighter let's try and keep our feet on the ground.

I've already praised Hatton's performance. Read my posts before typing nonsense.
The thread is analysing Malignaggi's performance and in particular his complete reluctance to throw his right hand and WHY and HOW this reluctance came about; not to discredit Hatton.
I personally believe he broke it. Many people believe the same or that he injured it.
If your hand is fine and you are in the biggest boxing fight of your career and facing a world champion who is one of the best p4p fighters on the planet then you no excuse not to throw it.
