  • Malignaggi broke his hand

Anyone else notice that Malignaggi barely threw his right hand (a key part of his arsenal)?
How can anyone ride Hatton's coat tails knowing that he essentially fought a one-armed fighter and STILL managed to get marked up?

I personally believe Malignaggi broke his right hands during that fight and early on as well hence why he got 'dominated'. Look at the way he held his right hand after the fight.

It's amazing the Sky commentators didn't pick up on it(!) I say that with a hint of sarcasm in my voice.

It's still too early to assses Hatton's performance; yes he won but let's be realistic, he was fighting a one-armed fighter throughout the whole fight.

      STFU,

you clearly dont have a clue about boxing and should get off this forum,
hatton dominated paulie throuout and paulie knows it, he was out boxed by hatton, hatton was quickeer than him, stronger than him, better than him,

is paulie broke his hand he wud say after wuds in the post fight press confrence, but he never,

he used his left because its called a JAB! , he tryed to set up with the jab buit he cudnt set up because hatton just kept walking through it and slipping,

dont come up with excuses or whatever just shut up you sound pathetic

You weren't watching. They commented before the start that Pauli might well be (as he had been previously) very reluctant to throw the right just in case he did break it. Anyway, do you seriously believe it would have made any difference?

So he was reluctant to throw it at all then? Maybe he didn't say anything because he got clowned and any excuses would have hurt his credibility.

As for me not knowing anything about boxing; this is coming from a forum where most members change their minds more often than a woman in a shoe shop regarding fan support and calling anyone who loses shot, **** or over-hyped.

Yeah, I know nothing about the game at all(!)

What a ****** you are mr tricky.

Ricky had a small mouse under his left eye which says.....Paulie landed a few right hands.......I think Paulie's reluctance to throw his right frequently came from bein' countered by hard left hooks from Ricky.

I understand him being reluctant to throw the right due to fear of it breaking but HARDLY throwing it at all suggests that something was amiss. Hatton wasn't that good, it's just that Malignaggi was woeful due to being reduced to a virtually one armed fighter.

It would have been more competitive, that's for sure. Malignaggi using BOTH hands would have given Hatton a far better fight. Not neccesarily have won but it would have been more competitive.

If Malignaggi's hands are that brittle he needs to get out of the game ASAP.

I actually thought his hand may have been injured BEFORE the fight, he barely used it on the pads or in the fight even at the start but perhaps he is just reluctant to throw it after all the times he has injured it

He never made any excuse so it really our place to tho.

But a got news for Paulie Mallinagi u just cant beat the worlds best fighters with a one handed offence!
