So you're telling me Oscar and BHop was stricktly staged for money just like Pac/DLH but yet that didn't hardly get any hate from fans. Alot of hypocrite boxing fans.
DLH fought @ 130 and Hopkins throughout his career was @ 160. People don't seem to bring that up do they??

dude, I"m not sure what your position is, correct me if I am wrong, you are just upset that Oscar is taking all of these hits from "true" boxing fans, and that these same fanes said nothing about BHop, doing what you feel is the same thing Oscar is doing.....

Oscar had the goals of becoming world champion at multiple weight class divisions.....that's why he continued to grow and advance in weigh tto accomplish his dream and he did....BHop was the middleweight king, his objective was to set the record of most title defenses in his weight class...Also, there really was nowhere for BHOP to go, the 168lbs division wasn't what it is today back then, so there was no incentive for him to leave the 160lbs....so he stayed and dominated his weight class.....

And i truly beg to differ with regard to comparing BHop's size to his opponents as compared to what DLH's size advantage will be against Manny.....Listen no one put a gun to Manyy's head, it's up to him, i just hope that this wont be a staged fight like the DLH/HoPKINS "fight"

Well, not all of them but alot of them hating on Oscar. But you're right. I don't mean just BHop btw, he's an example, tons and tons of boxers have done the same thing Oscar is doing. Honestly apart from Hatton....Who else brings more $$$$$ for Oscar than Pac??? EVERY and I mean EVERY boxer is after the money more than legacy. Trust me I don't like the fight but after all he has done for his fans, he deserves a freebie.

he's really taking the hits for avoiding Margarito, real boxing fans wanted to see that fight, its the 1st time that Oscar has appeared to avoid an opponent....and he chose to fight little Manny.....Hopefully after this fight he'll fight Margarito, but it seems he's already got his sights set on fighting another little guy in Hatton....so who knows what willl happen......actually I take that back, one thing we do know is that both Manny and Oscar will get paid rather well that night, it was great chatting with you......take care

I don't understand why everyone is so upset over who DLH fights. He's not a serious contender at this point in his career, he's an exhibition fighter. Why should he fight Margarito? If he did we would be complaining that DLH don't deserve the fight because he's not the #1 contender, he gets that fight on his name alone. Why should he take a massive beating from Paul Williams? For the love of the game? There has to be a reward for the risk, there is no reward. Everything he does at this point is meaning less, win, lose, or draw he's a boxing legend, his best days are behind him, what's wrong with him making extra cash along the way? Every single one here would do the same thing as him given the opportunity. Nobody cares about boxing unless DLH fights, and when he's gone, nobody will care except us.

ODLH would like to cash in on the huge crowd turnout in England. Very smart on his part. JAT

Bernard beat up every fighter in 160 during his reign. And any fighter who moved up got dealt with also. He ducked no one!!!!!
