buddy is a excellent buddy as a trainer, during fights he tells his fighters they are winning even though buddys fighters are down 6 rounds to 1, buddy is a buddy trainer, not a real trainer like teddy atlas , emmanuel stewart , nacho beristein , etc. who tell their fighters they are losing, buddy is the all time worst trainer of all time, hes a good buddy with his fighters though

Both Gatti & Paulie had their left had's so far down in their most important fights under Mc Girt. Which makes me wonder about him.
Paulie needs his hand at his waist. It's his style. But not Gatti.

I personaly think that he trains his fighters differently from how he tells them in the corner.. Paulie was traying to throw uppercuts and go to the body against Ngoudjo and looked bad, he did again against Hatton and looked bad.

Lol, I made pretty much this exact thread about a year ago:

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

          Its not just you.

Things haven't improved McGirt wise. When I saw him in Paulie's corner this weekend, I knew that Hatton would emerge victorious.

"You're taking too much punishment!!!!" is like a catch phrase with him;he says it often because his fighters are always getting smashed in the teeth after he trains them into the ground.

I totally agree, if I had a dollar for every time I heard him say “I’m not going to let you take anymore punishment.”

Well, it was his peril against Hatton in some occasions and heavy punchers.
