Bring back Hatton on the P4P list

The thing is, Cotto never beat anyone in the top 10 p4p, then loses to a guy that's not even close to top 10, and still remains in. Hatton beats a guy that was #2, then beats like 3 world title holders, then loses to the #1 guy and gets dropped from the list altogether. Beating another title holder like Malignaggi should at least put him near 10 on the list, especially with a dominating performance like that.Comment

Be fair, he didn't get dropped from the list until his fragile looking display over Lazcano. You could see in that performance that one of the facets that gave him a high ranking, his punch resistance, seemed to be lacking. The thing is, Cotto never beat anyone in the top 10 p4p, then loses to a guy that's not even close to top 10, and still remains in. Though it did seem that the Ring editorial board were looking for an excuse to get him off the ranking following the poor showing against Collazo...Comment

I agree with you... cotto and marg shouldn't have been p4p and if they were, bottom 7 at best. The thing is, Cotto never beat anyone in the top 10 p4p, then loses to a guy that's not even close to top 10, and still remains in. Malignaggi never lost his IBF title in the Ring, he was stripped because of the inflexability and ******ity of the IBF. They were not willing to let him fight the linear light welterweight champion Hatton first, and then fight his mandatory. He should have been granted an exception by the IBF.Comment

Maybe Im not quite sure. Maybe 10 or close to it. He dominated Paulie tonight and made him do all the holding instead of the other way around. Paulie was all jabs like usual and didn't even let that right hand go or throw combinations. With his lack of power he never was really a threat to Hatton really especially when he completely stopped to try to outbox him. I give credit to Ricky though, he did fight extremely well.Comment
