Ugh and where is the proof other than just heresay that flops out on a message board. I posted it once before but there is video on youtube of Margarito asking for an immidiate rematch with Williams after their first match. Gossen rejected it and thats pretty common knowledge at this point. Look it up *******! All of the Mosley rejection newsclips that I have read say nothing about who offered what so please show me proof and maybe I'll agree with you.

Fighters get bad reps because of their fans on forums sometimes.
I don't hate Margarito, I respect and like the guy...
However, that doesn't mean I don't think he is being a punk and a hypocrite right now for not signing to fight Mosley.
He pretty much did what he said he wouldn't do and that's be like Mayweather's punk ass.

But really, it goes to show you how far Margarito has come. He is a top guy. And per NSB rules, Article 125, section J, he will be hated. It's not a bad thing, really.

I personally dont hate Margarito. I enjoy watching him fight, and he is one of the best pressure fighters i've ever seen, but with that said, he does seem to whine a lot. When he lost to Paul Williams all he did was *****. He beats Cotto, and his ego seems to have gotten bigger then Mayweathers. He claims how everyone avoided him, and yet when Paul Williams offers him 4 mill for a rematch he turns it down. So now he comes off looking like a hypocrit.

I enjoy watching him fight, but i see where a lot of the hate is coming from.

He doesn't have an ******* arrogence about himself like the De La Hoya's/Mayweathers of the world. He never really had anything handed to him like most of the Alphabet champs in his division. He's always respectful to other fighters and his fighting style although very primative best embodies the blue collar work ethic of not only his country but ours as well. So why all the hate? I seriously think that some of you are just drinking too much haterade to have a serious reason to dislike the guy.


And the whole he's ducking people is ****ing bull****!!! Bob Arum tells him who he's gonna fight and Arum is gonna make sure that whoever he fights is gonna be the person who makes Arum the most money. Seriously if you think boxers decide who they fight then you don't know a god damn thing about boxing and should just stick to watching Tennis or somthing. The Mosley rejection is a shot at Golden Boy and Arum is behind it.

Some people hate Margarito because he was known as "the most dangerous man in boxing." The Mayweather nuthuggers naturally considered this offensive. When Floyd declined to fight Margarito for 8 million, some claimed Floyd dodged Margarito. The nuthuggers rushed to Floyd's defense in hysteria. Excuses abound to this day. But, the Mayweather nuthuggers have since become almost militant in their hatred towards "the most dangerous man in boxing."

There's your answer.
