i don't hate Margarito, but this last stunt? i can't respect it... i just started thinking he was like a clean-up man, and then he's ducking Mosley of all people... to take a bull**** fight with Cotto, that he might mess around and lose...

Yeah people on this forum say he should move up in weight because he's a ***** for fighting smaller fighters but lets be honest Clotty could be a Middleweight,Cintron could fight at Middleweight, and Williams could be a SuperMiddleweight easily. He's already fighting guys who could be in those weight classes and he beat most of them.

If he could make the weight, then there is nothing wrong with that. He's being doing it for years with no problem. He's a natural welter, don't know why people hate on that ****. I feel the same for PW.

Like I said it's Arum! Before he was champ Arum was played the whole"Nobody wants to fight him" routine to get him a big fight. Now that he is the champ Arum is gonna get him a few low risk fights to make easy money on him then he will put him in the risky fight. Promoters have been doing this forever so is it really a suprise? The bottom line is he rejected the Mosely fight becasue Arum told him too. This game has been played for 90 years now. case in point Tex Ricker refusing to let Jack Dempsey fight Black fighters and sticking him with talentless blobs like Firpo and fighters that began their carreers fighting at flyweight like George Carpentier. This is nothing new guys!!!

He doesn't have an ******* arrogence about himself like the De La Hoya's/Mayweathers of the world. He never really had anything handed to him like most of the Alphabet champs in his division. He's always respectful to other fighters and his fighting style although very primative best embodies the blue collar work ethic of not only his country but ours as well. So why all the hate? I seriously think that some of you are just drinking too much haterade to have a serious reason to dislike the guy.


And the whole he's ducking people is ****ing bull****!!! Bob Arum tells him who he's gonna fight and Arum is gonna make sure that whoever he fights is gonna be the person who makes Arum the most money. Seriously if you think boxers decide who they fight then you don't know a god damn thing about boxing and should just stick to watching Tennis or somthing. The Mosley rejection is a shot at Golden Boy and Arum is behind it.

He embodies everything about "the Blue Collar fighter" and he is the most down to earth champion that I have ever seen. He's like Arturo Gatti except that he actually wins a lot of his big fights and physically beats down the otherfighter no matter if what the outcome.

I dont think he's really beaten any one apart from Cotto.Forget the Clottey fight for obvious reasons
