Why doesn't margaritto just man up and fight at a higher weight class

Panama Al Brown was nearly 6 feet tall with a 75 inch reach and he fought at 118 lbs back when fighters weighed in at the day of the fight. Most of his opponents were 5'5 or shorter
If Margarito can make the weight, it's all fair. I've seen bigger welterweights than him.
He has fought and beaten fighters like Sergio Martinez for example who is just as big as Margarito if not bigger.

Margarito needs to make that money now because he hasn't made a lot during his career from what I heard. I think he will avoid Williams because he wants more fights with his title and get paid. If he fights Williams next, he has a solid chance of losing and it isn't worth it from a business standpoint...unless you take the stance of saying beating Williams will enhance his rep.Comment
