    Mayweather UD.

Shane's a great fighter but he has a penchant for running out of ideas inside the ring sometimes while Floyd has showed a lot more comprehensive ring smarts.

Yeah Mosley totally goes into a shell when things don't go his way. Check out the first fight with Winky. He was basically crying after 7 or 8 rounds.

And the De La Hoya rematch he looked HORRIBLE most of that fight. I'm still shocked the judges gave him that one. Oscar clearly wins 7-8 rounds.

This is at 135 where he destroyed all his opponents. He then fought a Prime Oscar Dela Hoya and gave Dela Hoya his first true defeat.
Floyd would get hit more times then he would his whole entire career and Shane would beat him to the punch most of the time with his faster hands and power punches. He could easily match Floyd in the boxing department, Floyd would be eating his quick straight right hand over the jab. Even Shane's Overhand right was deadly fast also combine with his quick lunging left hooks he used to do in his prime. Floyd would have to be super defensive because shane in his prime when he got close to you would do serious damage to the head and body which I see him doing to Floyd. Shane was even faster than Floyd with his foot speed and hand speed and would do serious damage throughout the fight.

Shane would either take this by close UD or maybe even a TKO in his Prime.
Hell no to the bolded quote. Mayweather is clearly the better boxer than Mosley. Mosley's boxing skills were never that special. He was more of a speedy slugger. He's just ridiculously fast, and could be flashy, so it seems to some like he's some sort of great pure boxer. But his style is much more of that of a slugger than a boxer. "Power-boxing" is like speedy-slugging. Mosley got away with a lot of sloppy things in there, because he was so talented. The only top fighter of this period that I think that was more athletically gifted was Roy. Mosley pawed with his jab way too much, winged wide shots often and left himself open down the middle quite frequently.

Mosley was terrific at this style, but we can be pretty sure that Mayweather would fight much smarter than DLH did when he fought Mosley the first time. DLH probably thought he could overpower Mosley since Mosley was less experienced at 147 than him, and maybe he was still stung from the criticism from the Tito fight, so he was very aggressive and attacked much more. That gave Mosley the edge, because Mosley excels in the exchanges.

But in a more tactical boxing match, Mayweather is definitely superior. And as said before, I don't see Mosley being the sort of aggressive, pressure fighter that bothered Mayweather had trouble with against Castillo. That's not how he fights.

Yea, people always talk like Mosley is a "boxer" and he's definitely not.

I think, styles wise, Mosley is a good matchup for Mayweather. I think it'd be a great fight and I'd probably lean towards Floyd. I think the one thing that would give Floyd trouble would be that prime Mosley, matched...maybe even had an advantage in the hand speed department. I think Floyd would get hit more than ever, but Shane kind of utilizes the RJJ defense(reflexes), and Floyd is wayy too accurate to just trust your reflexes.

It would be an incredible fight, thats for sure.

A prime shane is too fierce for FMJ and will definitely have FMJ running scared. I can see a KO by Shane

Good one.. Mosley doesn't have enough pop in his left jab to keep Mayweather honest from throwing that overhand. Meanwhile Mosley's overhand is looping. Mosley would look real bad that night.

Maybe but Shane is in no way going down in the fight. He definitely has a proven chin which I can see runnign through shot left and right just to give mayweather his best. Shane is a very intelligent fighter, he called out Mayweather a while back on record and on tape yet FMJ didnt want any part. I dont know if you have watched prime mosley destroying opponents with and without speed but Prime is a whole different shane. He disposed of a PRIME De La Hoya better than Mayweather did an old washed up Oscar.

Man, at 135, this **** would have been incredible.....
Incredible strength and speed, against probably the most natural, and gifted fighter I have ever seen.
Slightest of margins to Mayweather. He has a plan B, C, and 3.14......
