I never understood that because he lost to Mayweather he was taken off the list.

Mayweather was number 1 after all.

marquez loses to pac and jumps to #2.

the other marquez loses to vazquez and stayed on there still.

i'm just going off of resume , chunk.

we can't say for sure why this fight or that fight didn't happen.

all we can go off of is the fights that did happen.

you say ricky didn't win a belt 'til 2005 but look at what he did do when he did win.

in the end , ricky might not be as skilled as joe but his resume can stand up there against joe's. the only thing joe has on him is longevity.

if ricky beats paulie tomorrow and ends up beating say pacquiao or even marquez next year. i'd be very happy for the guy.

If Pac beats Oscar, and Hatton beats Paulie, those two are getting together.

You can't turn down that type of fight...plus, Hatton will want to face the P4P best fighter to get himself back on top.
