Margarito Says Mosley Balk is De La Hoya Payback

Its always been the first fight on my list without a doubt. Why it hasn't happened or why he doesn't talk about it does bother me as a boxing fan.

If he doesn't rematch in the next year, then I'll call Margarito what he would be, a hypocrite chicken sissy.

I'm just not too fond of people claiming hes ducking fighters he has already stepped in the ring with.

The way PW is jumping up and down in weight...I cant blame Margo if a rematch between him and PW doesnt happen.

PW and Goosen wanted to move forward after their first fight..so it didnt happen then.

I think by Margo turning down PW and Goosen , NOW that they want to fight and by him turning down Mosley, he is trying to make a statement that he wants to be dictating more who he fights and for what. Kind of like Hopkins did for a while w/out a major promoter.

That 4 mil offer was to Arum and top rank to produce Margo..not soley to Margo. and who knows how much say Arum had it turning it down. Top rank would get there cut for sure...

Well first were do you get that 8-2 thing.Your making things up, just like when you said that Collazo got 2 Millions for fighting Mosley, wich is absurd. It maybe being like 2-1 but 8-2 sounds ridiculous.Second before Cotto. Who the hell knew Margarito? Except for Die hard boxing fans, nobody. For the most part, I agree. Especially after the first fight. PW didn't really seem too eager to do it again.



Equal blame at this point though, if it doesn't happen by next year though, it never will.

Dude he's not the only saying that it was alot more Mexicans at the Cotto vs Margarito fight.
For your second part, alot of people knew who Margarito was, I will admit though more "casual" american fans knew Cotto. Margarito is more likely to sellout in Vegas than Cotto, reason for my opinion is that Cotto is an east coast fighter.

I entirely agree with you. But saying it was 8-2 is a bit too much.I'm saying Cotto fans against Margarito fans , because if you compare Mex vs PR at the fight of course there was more Mexicans the West coast is full of Mexicans. Dont you think it would off being the opposite if the fight where at NY?

Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry played more of a factor than actual margarito fans. Less Puerto ricans in the west coast than the east, therefore more mexican fans.

Ernie who works for boxingscene, maxboxing and was part of margarito's team for a little bit has already stated numerous times that, that was a publicity stunt. No offer was ever sent to arum or team margarito, margarito's manager himself said there WAS NEVER AN OFFER SENT TO THEM. You guys buy into this media **** so easily, actually i don't even think you guys buy it but since there's really nothing to bash about margarito you guys grab something and run with it.

I totally agree. the same happend in the Oscar-Tito fight. Mexicans embraised Oscar for that fight, because it was PR vs Mex.
