One thing about Lou, he shows a lot more energy and compassion for his fighters than other promoters. Whether thats genuine or not who can say.

that would be the outcome of calzaghe vs prime jones

calzaghe would pressure jones, but this suppossed technical fighter that gets dropped and rocked as often as he pisses would get dropped, i dont care how strong his chin is, calzgahe leaves himself wide open and he would'nt survive, even if roy had to drop him more than once, sooner or later it'd end in tko/ko with roy as the winner(obviously)

              His fighters make him money.

Like Larry Holmes said: All fighters are **********s and all promoters are pimps.

              Trainers...I can see them caring.

If one of his fighters are poor or can't go on because of injury and that fighter doesn't have money to pay his bills...if Lou comes through, sure, then he cares. But it also might be guilt that this fighter made you a ton of money, so...who knows.

I always thought this fight was a good example of how Jones Jr. vs. Glenn Johnson could have played out. Glenn would have been tougher but it shows you the difference how Roy handled pressure fighters that came to take off his head from the start.

It also shows you how Roy was able to see the openings when his opponent is on the attack throwing a barrage of heavy punches.

Look at Jones put together punches, give angles, and counter with his own pressure.

That's it. It's not saying that this is exactly how it would play out...it's just showing you the difference between a "live" Roy Jones Jr. compared to the "Shot" Roy.

Roy Jones Jr never knocked out an elite boxer in his prime, unless delusional roy fans believe montel griffen or whatver his name is, is an elite... LOL... people on here are dumb, they think because roy knocked calzaghe down in the first round, and that because hopkins knock roy down in the first round that they could knock him out in his prime. Yeah right, there knockdowns looked more like flash knock downs compared to byron mitchells knockdown

Calzaghe is a FAST punching SOUTHPAW with good FOOTWORK, ACCURACY, ANGLES, HEIGHT ADVANTAGE and WORKRATE.

Not a SMALL, SLOW, fighter with POOR ANGLES, FOOTWORK and ACCURACY.

Glen Johnson is fair enough but even then, Johnson is a lot better than Brannon.
