It strikes me that this whole Hatton going downhill thing is based on 30 seconds in round 12 of his last fight. If we are going to do that then those people need to look at the last 18 minutes of his opponents last fight...
      paulie broke his hand...

hatton just eats too much junk food and has too much beer during his time off gaining 40lbs and losing 40 lbs all in a few months time; repeatedly...

thats whats going on with hatton.

i dont blame him for the loss to mayweather...i mean; mayweather was the top fighter in boxing at the time...

but look at the lazcano fight...he was supposed to put on a show (nearly an exhibition) for his home country but instead he found himself fighting to make it to the final bell...

lazcano may have lost nearly (if not every) round but he exploited hatton's lifestyle catching up to him...

paulie doesnt put on 40lbs in his off time...he stays in shape and is still young and fast enough to win this fight.

Next person to reply who wants to bet all my points has got a deal. You have to quote this post.

This aint an anti-Brit thing either, as I'm English.

I doubt that he will get knocked out but I do have the guido winning by decision, doing what he does best and that's sticking and moving his way to a UD.

His legs/movement are the biggest key to victory, it's his offense and defense. Then Hatton's condition is another key to victory, I think losing all that weight is finally taking a toll on the getting Hitman and with a target moving all around the ring, he won't be able to catch him and clinch and punch his way to victory.

Paulie is not much of a puncher, and he has injury-prone hands.

I can see Hatton taking another brutal spill in the near future, but not from Paulie.

For sure. Hatton's one of those guys who will only get specacularly knocked out, otherwise he'll just keep coming.

If Malignaggi is capable of that, we are living in an alternate universe.

Mayweather is a good trainer but if a fighter has no punch resistance he will get knocked out. While I was favouring Hatton to win at first I'm not so confident he will win.We might be seeing the end of a career
