He's already a multi-millionaire, if he values his legacy, he won't come back, going out on top seems very important to him and he's risking throwing that all away.

Well, for names, let's say Valuev, for instance. Then let's say Chagaev, and Dimitrenko, plus Juan Carlos Gomez. Not to mention as 50/50 bets Ruiz, Arreola Povetkin ad Eddie Chambers.

You could see that Lewis was done, in that last few rounds of the Klitschko fight, which the dr scandalously had stopped , because of Klitschko's eyebrow cut, which had been under control for 3 rounds and had not worsened. The reasons began to grow after many protests. I've heard at least 3, at different times, reoportedly from the doctor himself. I think he may have had a bet on the fight.
