Probably.
But you can see Wlad having hairy moments probably and Haye would be trying to shoot that right hand over the jab from the very first bell.
Vitali would just get in there and manhandle Haye for about 3 rounds, and then he'll knock him out when Haye's early threat is significantly depleted.Comment

Personally I think it would be one of the ATG performances if he did.
If you really break it down.
Unless Vitali's blows his knee out or something.
Haye to beat Vitali has to do what Herbie Hide did for one 3 minutes spell for 36 minutes. Basically not get hit with anything much.Comment

I actually think Wladimir would have a very good chance of beating this version of Vitali (if they ever fought and they won't).
He has the better resume of the two as well, although Vitali at his best would most likely beat Wladimir at his best.
I still rate Wladimir as the number 1 heavyweight right now.Last edited by TheGreatA; 11-21-2008, 04:35 AM.Comment

I'd like to see that fight.
But thinking about it, what does Haye get out of that really?
Haye needs to fight a big guy, who will try and use his size to exploit David Haye's lack of it. Toney is not a Heavyweight no matter how fat he is. The only credit Haye could get from that is if he could land clean consistantly. Because he really doesn't have too to win that fight regardless. To be truly worthwhile and a feather in Haye's cap he'd have to knock him out.Comment
