Yes it is. Jones has never been a high work rate fighter, Joe would have always pushed him to the max, prime or not.

      yep!

like him or not, he can win a fight simply by going longer than you. couple that with his strange style, great chin, and a good bit of skill and hes a tough cookie.

I believe that Roy confidence may be shot but his ability is intact to overcome and regain his "old form" at least one last time and than retire with a performance of the "Old Roy" that will be a lasting memory for himself and his fans!!!!!!!
he gave a great performance against trinidad and looked refreshed and younger...but you have to take into account trinidad's stage in his career also.

for that one last great performance it will have to come against a fighter past his prime.

Since always. What a silly question. Calzaghe has one of the best chins in boxing. Yes, he occasionally gets knocked down (4 times in 18 years), but recovers instantly. How many people have you seen put their head between Roy's fists and completely drop their guard? How about that uppercut that Jones landed? Joe ignored it.

I don't think I've seen anyone recover as fast as Joe after taking a hard shot.

Fighters don't give away what they are doing in training, that's probably why you never saw any serious training from Roy.

As a true RJJ fan for life, I personally think he's finished. I bet Calzaghe over him in their fight and am a big fan of Calzaghe as well, so this is not to degrade him by saying RJJ is finished. I'm simply stating the truth.

I think he's given the fans enough already so I say let the man go tend to his roosters and live the rest of his life in peace and good health.
