Yesterday, when England were playing Germany in a football (soccer) match, the majority of the German fans in the stadium booed the English national anthem as soon as it started.

No one I know even mentioned it, and the press certainly didn't.

We are not very patriotic these days over in the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe, but the Americans seem to be different in the respect, and good on them for it.
