im really starting to like paul, the man has grit, i just wish he could get the big names to step up though, i do think that marg will fight him, but after the cotto rematch, if he loses before that fight or even looks bad the money he is looking at will definatly be downgraded. i can see the two of them getting together to end out 09

Since when did a winner seek a rematch with someone they beat? Williams should not be chasing Margarito, but should continually denegrate him as 2nd best and Margarito will chase him. Williams should fight Daniel Santos on the same day as Cotto/Margarito II. Santos owns Margarito.

Agreed. Williams should fight Santos - I made a thread about this a couple months ago. Apparently this isn't a sexy fight. Don't know why as there would be major fireworks in this one. I'm not complaining though if Williams fights the man who beat Santos.

Williams should forget WW, too many ******* out there not willing to fight him. He should fight Angulo or Kirkland right now!

              Paul williams without a 5'' height advantage isn't ****
i'll have respect for him if he actually has some of those fights
              Pavlik murders him too
Konecny? Really? This the same dude who couldn't even beat an ancient Michele Piccirillo for the Euro jr. middleweight title a few years back. He'd be a .500 fighter if he fought anywhere but Germany.
Fact is Dzinziruk has a nice decision win (at home in Germany), a bunch of bull**** defenses, and then a decent decision win over Julio (at home in Germany) on his record. Would be surprised if he's actually fights Williams because he can continue making a lot of money fighting bull**** defenses in Germany, just like Sturm and Erdei.
By the way, Dzinziruk has had a height advantage of at least 2" in every one of his title defenses. Against Lujan it was 6"

THESE are the kind of matchups that need to be made more often in the sport.

I can't imagine that anyone is confident that one guy is going to beat the other, because they have never fought on the same type of network, so there aren't going to be a lot of people who know much about both.

Plus, they both have stellar records, and it should be a pretty even fight.

Neither fighter is doing this for the payday... it's about boxing man.

                    Good for these two people.

I wonder why Sergei isn't rated higher, he has an identical record with no loss.
