So far who is the FIGHTER of the YEAR?

Pacquiao - 12SD Marquez, 9TKO Diaz ( Garnering two belts this year WBC Super Featherweight and WBC Lightweight Champ)

Calzaghe - 12SD Hopkins, 12UD Jones ( Garnering Light Heavyweight Ring Magazine Belt )

Margarito - KO Cintron, TKO Cotto 9 (Garnering WBO Welterweight belt and Cotto's WBA/WBC Belt?

Well if u'll ask me, PACMAN's accomplishment this year is brighter than the rest since he became a 4-division Champ.

    How about you boxing freaks?

I pick Calzaghe. Him and Manny are neck and neck and their first wins where both good while there second wins were against overmatched fighters but Joe's wins made him the man at 175, Manny's win didnt make him the man at 135

Margarito who knocked out a top ten welter with ease and then got into a war and emerged victorious against a P4P top ten.
Pacquiao should have lost to JMM and Calzaghe fought two old guys.

BHOP should have been included. controversial loss to top3 p4p fighter, and a schooling of the undefeated #1 middleweight AT AGE 43. I'm not a hopkins fan, but that does warrant a nomination for a fighter of the year prize.

Actually Hopkins is probably more deserving than Calzaghe because he narrowly lost to Cal and then he beat Pavlik.
And JMM is more deserving than Pacman.

Roy Jones was coming off 3 straight wins and Hopkins is still one of the best p4p fighters in the world.

Calzaghe is the fighter of the year!
